Who publishes KoinLens

KoinLens is published by LOLMinds. It is a crypto research site: we score coins and tokens for scam and security risk, and we cover the news and airdrops that bear on those risks. Editorial decisions are made by the KoinLens team and by no one else — no project pays for coverage, for a score, or for a place in any list.

How our news is produced

Three kinds of story appear on this site, and every article carries a byline saying which one it is. We would rather label a piece honestly than have all three look like original reporting.

  • Compiled reports. Most of the feed. We cluster coverage of the same event from several newsrooms, summarise what they report, and link to every one of them. The reporting is theirs and we credit it; the selection, clustering and scoring are ours. We do not republish their articles.
  • Automated market reports. Generated daily by software from price and market data when a coin moves sharply. No person writes these. They are labelled as automated on the article itself.
  • Editorial pieces. Written by the KoinLens team.

How our scores are produced

The KoinLens Score is calculated, not opinion. It combines contract-security checks, liquidity, holder concentration, market structure and performance measured against Bitcoin. Every coin page shows the inputs behind its score and states where data was missing.

Where a token has no contract address we can scan, the security checks cannot run. Those coins are marked Unscanned and capped, which means unverified — not unsafe. We would rather show you a gap than fill it with a guess.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us at email us and we will correct it. Factual corrections to an article are made on the article itself. If a score is wrong because our input data was wrong, we fix the input and the score recalculates.

Independence and funding

KoinLens takes no payment from any project, exchange or token in exchange for coverage, a score, a listing or a ranking. If that ever changes — through advertising or affiliate arrangements — it will be disclosed here and labelled wherever it appears.

Market data is provided by CoinGecko. Security checks draw on public on-chain data and third-party scanners. Airdrop listings are aggregated from public trackers and scored by us.

What this site is not

Nothing on KoinLens is financial advice. We are not licensed advisers, we do not know your circumstances, and a high score is not a recommendation — it means the checks we could run came back clean. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
